Saw It, Pinned It, Did It...Valentine's Day Cards

Here is the original pin I tackled for this week's #SPDLinkUp

via

To make my Valentine's version of the card above you will need:
Paper
Fiskar Heart Punch
Sharpie
Blank Card with Envelope
Double Sided Tape

1| Punch out six hearts from your paper, I choose six different colors -- one red,
two shades of white, two shades of pink and one in pink glitter!

2| Fold each heart in half, this will give your card a 3D effect when finished.

3| Attach the hearts to your card with double sided tape starting at the top and working your way down.

4| Next, using a sharpie, draw on lines representing the string on your heart balloons. The orginal pin uses embroidery floss, I didn't have any on hand, but if you do I think it would be a nice touch.

Above is a photo of my finished #SPD project, I think my Valentine will love it!

Above is the inside of the card, I just taped a bunch of hearts
on the left side and wrote in gold sharpie on the right.

Will you be making homemade Valentine Cards this year?
